Mission, Meaning, and Making Sense
By: Matt Tiedgen
Are you in the Recruitment Business? No, but I get it. Like most businesses, the mission and makeup makes perfect sense…to the people involved. It only starts to make sense to the rest of the world with conversation, context, and repetition.
By itself, the name “ConnectWork” can have many meanings. Even the elevator answer of, “connecting people and brands through strategic marketing” needs some clarity.
In my 30+ years in the advertising and marketing industry, I’ve experienced many approaches to connecting people and brands. Creative. Measured. Tactical. Direct. Unexpected. Some succeed and many don’t. Before any direction stands a chance, it must start with Connection.
Connection happens when a relationship earns trust. Will the client give you the keys to the sports car with faith you’ll not only keep it on the road but return it clean, shiny and with a full tank? Trust allows you to tell stories that relevantly connect brands, products, and services in a way that makes sense to the people who seek them.
The ConnectWork mission is to empower brands through strategic marketing that drives measurable growth while building meaningful connections between organizations, advocates, and communities. As a result, our team, our clients, and their supporters win.
